I’ve been off in jolly old England laughing it up with Stephanie, Patrick, Mr. Darcy, and Maya the Wonder Dog. It was a fabulous trip in so many ways, and just what I needed. The distance from my normal reality helped me to see it a little more clearly. I’m still recovering from jet lag, catching up on work, and sorting through photos, but I do hope to post some trip entries soon.

In the meantime, I went back to work today — just in time to head to E3 with the team. Although the show was smaller and less impressive than in previous years (I am told), I enjoyed all the huge screens and awesome graphics. Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III made me squee the most. The new Katamari game made me squee until I saw the graphics, but I’m withholding final judgment on that one.

I also spoke with a gentleman about FreeRealms.com, which looks to be a free online game (like World of Warcraft) aimed at tweens. It launched in April. Any of you (or your kids) tried it out yet? Sadly, they don’t have a Mac version yet, or I’d be playing it right now.

Oh, and it turns out that scantily clad hot women are still a really effective way to attract guys to your booth. I’m sure you all wanted to know.
