The Book Smugglers review MIRAGE

The Book Smugglers Logo
I love The Book Smugglers, which means I get equal parts nervous and thrilled when I hear they’re going to review one of my books. Last year, Thea read and enjoyed Above World, giving it an 8 out of 10 and calling it a notable read of 2012. (I still squee when I type that).

But MirageMirage was the hardest book I’ve written yet, and at times I thought it would break me. I’m glad I kept pushing myself for something better — and that my first readers and editor pushed, too. Ultimately, though, I think the blood, sweat, and sleepless nights paid off. Mirage contains some of my favorite scenes in the series, and the process taught me a lot about myself as a writer and a person.

And now I’m thrilled to report that Thea from The Book Smugglers has given Mirage the same score as Above World: 8 – Excellent.

Will there will be celebrating tonight? Oh, yes.

This is a great looking review. I love the way this review covered in the middle of the way.
